Call for Nominations - HQuadA Board of Directors

Submit your application for HQuadA Board of Directors now!

HAAAA is soliciting applications for directors for HAAAA's Board of Directors.  Four out of the nine spots are open with terms running two years (August 2010 through August 2012).  Directors attend a quarterly teleconference and are responsible for: 1) providing broad vision and goals to the executive committee; 2) determining the budget and approving any major financial transactions; 3) electing the executive committee biannually; 4) reviewing the performance of the executive committee.

 

Join a young, dynamic alumni organization where you can have a substantial impact on the development and direction of its future.

 

Applications are due August 8, 2010.  They should consist of a short biography of 300 words or less and a statement of why you are interested in becoming a member of the Board of Directors and what your vision is for the organization.  Please submit them to nominations@haaaa.net.

 

Candidate materials will be circulated to the broader membership on August 10, 2010 with voting to commence immediately to go through August 24, 2010.  The current Board will likely provide guidance to members with a suggested slate of directors, with consideration for tenure and depth of contribution to HAAAA as well as future potential.
